Airplane Flight Manual Supplement AFMS-010918 (Initial Revision) dated June 28, 2018 is required. Instructions for Continued Airworthiness ICA-010918 (Initial Revision) dated June 21, 2018 are applicable.

1. The installer must determine whether this change is compatible with previously approved modifications.

2. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.

4. Approved with Lycoming 0-540-J1A5D, 0-540-J3A5, IO-540-W1A5D, and IO-540-W1A5 engines (2400 RPM) only .

5. 7:00 or larger tires are required per Note 14 of aircraft Type Certificate Data Sheet 3A23.

This STC retains compatibility with the float and ski models listed in Aircraft Type Certificate Data Sheet 3A23 when Hartzell propeller models HC-C2YR-IN/NG8301-3 (2-blade) or HC-C3Y1R-1N/NG8301-5 (3-blade) are installed. Use of the 2-blade propeller in place of the Hartzell HC-C3YR-1RF/F7693F propeller will increase the takeoff distances approximately 5%.

7. This modification does not constitute an acoustical change per 21.93(b).

8. The original certification basis was used for this STC with the following exceptions:

14 CFR 23.907 amendment 23-59, 23.1529 amendment 23-26.

9. The STC amendment of September 13, 2018 did not require a change to the STC ICA or maintenance instructions.
