Description of Type Design Change (continued):

1. Installation of the MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH model MTV-27-1-()-C-F-R(P)-J/CFR300-82() propeller on the Air Tractor, Inc. AT-802 and AT-802A model aircraft equipped with Pratt & Whitney PT6A-65 series or PT6A-67 series engines must be in accordance with the MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH Master Documentation List, Doc. # E-3519, Revision 5, dated August 3, 2021, or later European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) accepted revisions, and the MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH Installation Instructions, Doc. # E-3522, Revision 2, dated November 28, 2022, or later EASA accepted revisions.

2. Maintenance must be in accordance with the MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, Doc. # E-3523, Revision 0, dated December 3, 2019, or later EASA accepted revisions.

3. Operations must be in accordance with the MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH Airplane Flight Manual Supplement and Pilots Operating Handbook Supplement, Doc. # E-3521, Revision 3, dated April 27, 2021, or later EASA approved revisions.

2. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.

3. This Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) is applicable to all serial numbers for these Make-Models.

4. Operate in accordance with the Limitations section of the Airplane Flight Manual Supplement and Pilots Operating Handbook Supplement referenced in the Description section.

5. Operation at an engine rated power between 1425 - 1700 Shaft Horse Power (SHP) @ 1700 Revolutions per Minute (RPM) is limited to aircraft for the special purpose use of agricultural spraying, dusting, and seeding, and for the special purpose use of forest and wildlife conservation (fire fighting) per Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 21.25(b)(1) and 21.25(b)(2); including the special purpose of Drug Eradication in accordance with 14 CFR 21.25(b)(7) for the application of herbicides.

Certification Basis:

Based on Title 14 CFR 21.115 and 21.101, and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) policy for design changes that are identified as not significant in FAA Order 8110.48, the type certification basis for the modified Air Tractor, Inc. AT-802 and AT-802A is as follows:

a. The type certification basis for the Air Tractor Inc. AT-802 and AT-802A as shown on Type Certification Data Sheet (TCDS) A19SW for parts not changed or not affected by the change.

b. The type certification basis for the Air Tractor Inc. AT-802 and AT-802A for parts changed or affected by the change is TCDS A19SW with the following exceptions:

• 14 CFR Part 36: Shown at Amendment 36-31 for an engine rated power up to 1424 SHP @ 1700 RPM.

• 14 CFR Part 36: Beyond an engine rated power of 1424 SHP @ 1700 RPM, compliance was not shown and therefore operation is limited to the special purpose use of agricultural spraying, dusting, and seeding, and for the special purpose use forest and wildlife conservation (fire fighting) per 14 CFR 21.25(b)(1) and 21.25(b)(2); including the special purpose of Drug Eradication in accordance with 14 CFR 21.25(b)(7) for the application of herbicides.
