SA04550AT PMA Design and Manufacturing 8493 Baymeadows Way Jacksonville, FL 32256 Part 3 Civil Air Regulations A9EA Viking Air Limited DHC-6-100, -200, -300, -400 Main Wheel and Brake Assembly for the Viking Air DHC-6 Series aircraft in accordance with Master Document List, PDM-MDL0330, dated August 24, 2022, or later FAA approved revisions. Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA), PDM-ICA109, Rev A, dated July 26, 2022 or later FAA approved revisions must be made available to the operator at the time of installation.
This STC is applicable to all serial numbers for the Viking Air Limited DHC-6-100, -200, -300, and -400.
The installer must determine whether this design is compatible with previously approved modifications. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.

Based on 14 CFR §§ 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for the Viking Air Limited DHC-6-100, -200, -300, and -400 aircraft is as follows:
a. The type certification basis for Viking Air Limited DHC-6-100, -200, -300, and -400 aircraft is shown on TCDS A9EA, Rev 21, dated February 20, 2018, for parts not changed or not affected by the change.
b. The certification basis for parts changed or affected by the modification (since the reference date of application, June 13, 2022) is based upon 14 CFR Part 23 as amended through Amendment 23-64. Based on 14 CFR §§ 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for this modification was determined to be:
