1. Installation of the 27” X 36” Fuselage Cut-Out with FS 281 – 321 Internal Cabin Access must be in accordance with Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) approved Rocky Mountain Aircraft (RMA) Modification Instruction E122110, Revision C, dated January 20, 2021, or later TCCA approved revision.

2. Maintenance must be in accordance with TCCA accepted RMA Maintenance Manual Supplement E122131, Revision B, dated December 16, 2020, or later TCCA accepted revision.

1. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.

2. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.

3. This STC is applicable to all serial numbers for this Make-Model-Series.

Certification Basis:

Based on 14 CFR § 21.115 and § 21.101, and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for this modification to Viking Air Limited Model DHC-6-300 Series is as follows:

a. The type certification basis for the Viking Air Limited Model DHC-6-300 Series as shown on TCDS A9EA for parts not changed or not affected by the change.

b. The type certification basis for the Viking Air Limited Model DHC-6-300 Series as shown on the TCDS A9EA for parts changed or affected by the change with the following additional requirements:

• Compliance with 14 CFR part 23 including amendments 23-1 through 23-6, plus 14 CFR § 23.1529 at amendment 23-26.
