Installation of single Meggitt Electronic Flight Instrument System (EFIS) in accordance with Master Data List ST-918-L-0002, Revision C, dated 8-03-05, or dual Meggitt EFIS in accordance with Master Data List ST-918-L-0003, Revision C, dated 8-03-05, or later FAA approved revisions for Piper PA-31T.

2. FAA approved Airplane Flight Manual Supplement No. ST-918-M-0001, dated 8-29-05, or later FAA approved revision is required.

Other Global Positioning System (GPS) sources may be compatible with the EFIS, but interface with these devices require FAA approval. A digital display of current track without a moving map is not authorized: and An alternate heading display is required for this installation. The alternate heading display will be installed in the pilot's primary field of vision and will be driven by the copilot's heading source or the secondary Air Data Attitude Heading Reference System (ADAHRS) and flux gate.

2. Compatibility of this design change with previously approved modifications must be determined by the installer.

3. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.

4. This STC applies to Piper PA31T with serial numbers 31T-7400002 through 31T-7720069 inclusive (Cheyenne), and 31T-7820001 through 31T-8020091 inclusive (Cheyenne II).

5. Aircraft with serial numbers 31T-7920017, 31T-7920031, 31T-7920033, 31T-7920050, 31T- 7920076, 31T-7920080, 31T-7920085, 31T-8020013, 31T-8020028, 31T-8020040, 31T-8020047, 31T-8020054, 31T-8020077, 31T-8020079, 31T-8020092, and 31T-7904045 are not eligible for US certification and are not included in this STC.
