1. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.
2. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.
3. This STC is applicable to all serial numbers for this Make-Model.

1. Installation of GE Aviation Czech s.r.o. Turboprop Model M601E-11 or H75-200 engines must be in accordance with Stolairus Aviation Inc. Master Drawing List # DL98010, Revision S, dated April 16, 2018, or later Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) approved revision.
2. Operation must be in accordance with Stolairus Aviation Inc. Flight Manual Supplement FMS#10, Revision F, dated April 16, 2018, or later TCCA approved revision.
3. Maintenance must be in accordance with Stolairus Aviation Inc. Instructions for Continued Airworthiness Report number D85-50-00, Revision H, dated April 16, 2018, or later TCCA accepted revision.
4. The Installation of AVIA Hamilton Standard VJ8.510 (5 blade) Propeller in accordance with FAA STC SA09862SC, or AVIA Hamilton Standard V508E (3 blade) Propeller in accordance with FAA STC SA10237SC is approved with this STC.
5. The maximum gross weight remains at 8000 pounds for the landplane.
6. The gross weight limit for the seaplane is appropriate to the installed items listed in the Type Certificate Data Sheet A-815, or for the appropriate installed items listed in the flight manual supplement referenced in the Description of Type Design Change section.
8. Jet fuel is limited to Jet A-1, Jet A, or JP-5.
9. The propeller electronic speed limiter unit must be installed.
10. Airplanes manufactured before January 1, 1955, are exempt from complying with 14 CFR, Part 36, Noise Standards.
11. The aircraft must be operated in accordance with the limitations section of the flight manual supplement referenced in the Description of Type Design Change section.
Certification Basis:
Based on title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for design changes that are identified as not significant in FAA Order 8110.48, the type certification basis for the modified Viking Air Limited DHC-3 is as follows:
a. The type certification basis for the Viking Air Limited DHC-3 is shown on Type Certificate Data Sheet (TCDS) A-815 for parts not changed or not affected by the change.
b. The type certification basis for the Viking Air Limited DHC-3 for parts changed or affected by the change is shown on TCDS A-815 with the following exception:
