The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.

Garmin Avionics STC SA01535WI-D for the Installation of the Garmin G1000 Integrated Avionics System and GFC 700 Automatic Flight Control System and optional Electronic Stability and Protection (ESP) is a prerequisite for the installation of the Digital Flight Data Recorder modification described on the Master Data List identified above.

Airplane Flight Manual Supplement (AFMS) 1001-FMS-1000, Revision IR, dated October 16, 2020, or later FAA approved revision, is required.

Aircraft modified by this STC must be maintained in accordance with the Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) 1001-ICA-1000, Revision C, dated February 6, 2021, or later accepted FAA revision.

Certification Basis:

Based on 14 CFR §§ 21.115 and 21.101, and FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for the Textron Aviation King Air Models:
