Description of Type Design Change: Installation of Teledyne Continental Motors C-85-8F engine, a Flottorp Manufacturing Co. 72A48 propeller, and an 18 gallon auxiliary fuel tank in the right wing. Installation is in accordance with the Installation Parts List, dated June 11, 2004, and Photograph Set 1 thru 26. The Airplane Flight Manual Supplement dated April 18, 2005, or later FAA approved revision is required.

Limitations and Conditions: Descriptive data pertaining to this design change are considered inadequate for duplication in other airplanes. This approval is limited to only the installation made in Piper Model PA-15, Serial No.

15-168. This STC does not permit manufacturing of parts for multiple installations. The Flottorp Model 72A48 propeller blade diameter limits are not over 72 inches and not under 71.5 inches. The Continental C-85-8F engine is limited to a maximum of 2450 RPM. The Piper PA-15 gross weight remains at 1100 pounds.
