Description of Type Design Change: Installation of a Chelton Aviation Corp (CAC) AP-3C autopilot in accordance with the Master Drawing List No ST7982SC-A-12, Rev. A, dated May 26, 2005, or later FAA approved revision. FAA approved Airplane Flight Manual Supplement No. ST7982SC-A-14, Rev. I.R., dated June 27, 2005, or later FAA approved revision is required.
Limitations and Conditions: Compatibility of this design change with previously approved modifications must be determined by the installer. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use the certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission. Installation of Chelton Aviation Corp AP-3C is limited to Found Aircraft Models FBA-2C1 (260 HP & 300 HP) with Aerocet model 3500 floats and Aerocet model 3500L floats and FBA-2C2 with Aerocet model 3400 floats, Aerocet model 3500 floats, Aerocet model 3500L floats, Wipaire model 3450 amphibious floats and Wipaire model 3450 seaplane floats only.
