There are two options approved under this STC and these are described in Drawing No. 006-0000-1000.

Option 1: Installs the safety systems only. It does not change the airplane category, or maximum takeoff weight limitation, or airplane performance. Option 1 must be identified as the chosen option on the Form 337 that is entered in the airplane’s records. The airplane cannot be operated at a gross weight greater than the weight limitations shown in the Beechcraft King Air 200 series basic Airplane Flight Manual/Pilot’s Operating Handbook.

OR

Option 2: Installs the safety systems and increases the maximum takeoff weight limitation by changing the airplane category from Normal to Commuter. In Option 2, the maximum number of passenger seats is limited to nine. The pilot operating an airplane in accordance with Option 2 must possess the BE-200 type rating. Option 2 must be identified as the chosen option on the Form 337 that is entered in the airplane’s records. The airplane airworthiness certificate must be reissued to show the airplane is now in Commuter Category.
