DC-8-54F Description of Type Design Change: Replacement of NAS3610-2AIP cargo pallets and NAS3610- 2AIN nets with L size pallets and nets in accordance with DAS-1-WE Approved Drawing List No.1120 dated May 8, 1981, or later FAA approved revisions.

Limitations and Conditions: The approval of this change in type design applies basically to DC-8- 54F aircraft. This approval should not be extende d to other specific aircraft of this model on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated unless it is determined that the interrelationship between this change and any of those other previously approved modifications will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that aircraft. This determination should include consideration of significant changes in weight distribution such as an increase in the fixed disposable weight in the fuselage. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder sh all give the other person written evidence of that permission.

This certificate and the supporting data, which is the basis for approval, shall remain in effect until surrendered, suspended, revoked or a termination date is otherwise established by the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration.
