1. Compatibility of this design change with previously approved modifications must be determined by the installer.

2. CAPRE, Inc. Airplane Flight Manual, dated August 7, 1980, required for 172N installation for S/N's 17261445, 17261578, 17265685 through 17271034, except 17270050. CAPRE, Inc. Pilot's Operating Handbook and FAA Approved Flight Manual Supplement, dated August 7, 1980, required for 172N installation for S/N's 17270050, 17271035 and subsequent, or CAPRE, Inc. Pilot's Operating Handbook and FAA Approved Flight Manual Supplement, dated January 24, 1992, required for 172N and 172P installations for S/N's 17271035 and subsequent, or later FAA Approved Revisions of either of the above listed documents.

3. CAPRE, Inc. FAA Approved Pilot's Operating Handbook Supplement, dated January 24, 1992, required for 172M installations for S/N's 17265685 through 17267584, or later FAA Approved Revisions.

4. CAPRE, Inc. FAA Approved Airplane Flight Manual Supplement, dated June 22, 1993, or a later FAA Approved Revision, is required for installations on 172 Series aircraft modified with 180 HP Lycoming engines in accordance with either STC SA87NW or STC SA332GL.

5. CAPRE, Inc. FAA Approved Airplane Flight Manual Supplement, dated July 16, 2001, or a later FAA Approved Revision, is required for 175, 175A, 175B, 175C installations.

6. This STC approves the installation of the floats only - any engine modifications must be approved under separate cover.

7. A copy of this Certificate and FAA Approved Model List (AML) No. SA1168SO, or later FAA Approved Revision, must be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified aircraft.

8. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
