Description of the Type Design Change: Modify type design by the installing of bulk liquid cargo tank assembly installed in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approved Sorm, Inc. Drawing List SI-18000, Revision B, dated April 1, 2001, or later FAA-approved revision.

Limitations and Conditions: A fire/smoke detector is not required for this installation since the cargo is limited to that carried in the tanks. Data pertaining to this modification are considered inadequate for duplication in other aircraft. This approval is limited to installation on McDonnell Douglas DC-6B, Serial Number 43554. Airplane shall be loaded and system operated in accordance with Sorm, Inc. Appendix A, Report Number SI-1800, Revision C, Page A11. Do not exceed the airplane’s weight and balance limits. A copy of this certificate must be included in the permanent records of the modified aircraft.
