1. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.
2. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.
3. This STC is applicable to all serial numbers for these Make-Models.

1. Installation of Alternator Replacement must be in accordance with Avio Design Group Inc. (Avio dg) Modification Instructions 2323-MI-001, Revision -- , Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) approved July 15, 2024, or later TCCA approved revision.
2. Operation must be in accordance with Avio dg Aircraft Flight Manual Supplement 2323-FM-001, Revision -, TCCA approved July 12, 2024, or later TCCA approved revision.
3. Maintenance must be in accordance with Avio dg Instructions for Continued Airworthiness 2323-CA-001, Revision --, dated May 21, 2024, or later TCCA accepted revision.
4. Definition of the Type Design Change is defined in Avio dg Master Data List 2323-MD-001, Revision --, TCCA approved July 15, 2024, or later TCCA approved revision.
Certification Basis:
Based on Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) § 21.115 and § 21.101, and the FAA policy for design changes that are identified as not significant in FAA Order 8110.48, the type certification basis for the modified Viking Air Limited DHC-2 Mk. I and DHC-2 Mk. II is as follows:
a. The type certification basis for the Viking Air Limited DHC-2 Mk. I, and DHC-2 Mk. II is shown on Type Certificate Data Sheet (TCDS) A-806 for parts not changed or not affected by the change.
b. The type certification basis for the Viking Air Limited DHC-2 Mk. I, and DHC-2 Mk. II for parts changed or affected by the change is shown on TCDS A-806, plus the following 14 CFR requirements:
