1. Installation of the MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH model MTV-21-A/170-05 propeller must be done in accordance with the MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH Master Documentation List (MDL) and Installation Instructions shown on the attached Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Approved Model List (AML) No. SA12066IB, or later European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) accepted revisions.
1. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.

Description of Type Design Change (continued):
2. Maintenance must be in accordance with the MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH Instructions for Continued Airworthiness shown on the attached FAA AML No.
SA12066IB, or later EASA accepted revisions.
3. Operations must be in accordance with the MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH Aircraft Flight Manual Supplement shown on the attached FAA AML No. SA12066IB, or later EASA approved revisions.
2. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.
3. This Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) is applicable to all serial numbers for the Makes-Models shown on the attached FAA AML No. SA12066IB.
4. Operate in accordance with the Limitations section of the Aircraft Flight Manual Supplement shown on the attached FAA AML No. SA12066IB.
5. This modification is only for the Diamond Aircraft Industries Inc. DA20-A1 aircraft and HOAC-Austria DV 20 KATANA aircraft that have either the Rotax 912 A3 or Rotax 912 F3 engines installed.
Certification Basis Based on Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for design changes that are identified as not significant in FAA Order 8110.48, the type certification basis for the modified Diamond Aircraft Industries Inc. DA20-A1 aircraft is as shown in Type Certificate Data Sheet (TCDS) TA4CH and for the HOAC-Austria DV 20 KATANA aircraft is as shown in TCDS A74EU plus the following for both aircraft:
• 14 CFR Part 36 at Amendment 36-32.
