SA12329AT 05/04/2026 Description of Type Design Change: (Continued From Page 1) The short-wave infrared laser pointer is used to covertly illuminate objects to view with Night Vision (NV) equipment.

Airplane Flight Manual Supplement 2025004-AFMS-001, Revision A, dated April 23, 2026, or later FAA approved revision, is a required part of this STC and required to be on board the modified aircraft.

Instructions for Continued Airworthiness 2025004-ICA-001, Revision D, dated October 31, 2025 or later FAA accepted revision, shall be made available to the operator at the time of installation and required to be on board the modified aircraft.

Limitations and Conditions: (Continued from Page 1) This STC approves both the use of the Class 1M range finder laser and the Class 3B laser pointer only at Eye Safe distances. The Class 1M range finder laser is utilized to establish the Eye Safe distance that is greater than the Nominal Ocular Hazard Distance (NOHD) of 1325 feet, before allowing the operation of Class 3B laser pointer.

The aircraft will operate under restricted category when this laser system is enabled via the switch outside the flight deck. Cycling the ground activation switch, 'ON' on the ground will require an A&P mechanic to perform a logbook entry to move the aircraft from a "Standard" airworthiness certificate to a "Restricted" category airworthiness certificate where "Restricted" markings are to be added to the aircraft per 14 CFR 21.25(a)(2).

When cycling the ground activation switch to 'OFF', the 'Restricted' markings are to be removed and require an A&P mechanic to perform a logbook entry to move the aircraft back to "Standard" airworthiness certificate.

SA12329AT 05/04/2026 The FLIR Imaging System can be operated outside the restricted category with lasers inoperative.

If the holder of this STC agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.

This approval should not be extended to other aircraft of this model on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated, unless it is determined by the installer that the interrelationship between this change and any other previously approved modifications will produce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that airplane.
