1. This STC is applicable to all serial numbers for these Make-Models.
2. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.

1. Installation of the TB50 Lithium Battery must be in accordance with Rocky Mountain Aircraft (RMA) Modification Instruction E135710 Revision -, dated July 08, 2025, or later Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) approved revision.
2. Operation must be in accordance with RMA Aircraft Flight Manual Supplement E135730, Revision -, dated July 04, 2025, or later TCCA approved revision.
3. Maintenance must be in accordance with RMA Maintenance Manual Supplement E135731 Revision C, dated February 02, 2026, or later TCCA accepted revision and RMA Configuration Procedures Manual E135732 Revision -, dated July 08, 2025, or later TCCA accepted revision.
4. Definition of the Type Design Change: RMA Engineering Data Summary E135700 Revision -, dated July 10, 2025, or later TCCA approved revision.
3. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use the certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
Certification Basis:
Based on Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for design changes that are identified as not significant in FAA Order 8110.48, the type certification basis for the modified De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited DHC-6-100/-200/-300/-400 aircraft is as follows:
a. The type certification basis for the De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited DHC-6-100/-200/-300/-400 aircraft is shown on Type Certificate Data Sheet (TCDS) A9EA for parts not changed or not affected by the change.
b. The type certification basis for the De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited DHC-6-100/-200/-300/-400 for parts changed or affected by the change is as shown on TCDS A9EA for the DHC-6-400 model plus the following regulations at Amendment 23-64:
• 14 CFR §§ 23.2000, 23.2005, 23.2010, 23.2325(g), 23.2510, 23.2525
