Installation of Lycoming IO-540-K1B5 or IO-540-K1H5 engine in place of Lycoming O-540-A1A5. Data Required: (1) Clarence H. Brent Report B-300-250 “Installation Instructions for Brent Modification Kit B- 300-250” Revision C dated April 2, 1981, or later FAA approved revision; and (2) Airplane Flight Manual Supplement dated April 1, 1981, or later FAA approved revision.

1) This approval should not be extended to other specific airplanes of this model on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated, unless it is determined that the interrelationship between this change and any of those other previously approved modifications will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that airplane.

2) If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
