4A22 Lockheed 188A and 188C (Aircraft Serial No. 1070 and higher are eligible) Description of Type Design Change: Installation of cargo doors, cargo floor, and other changes in accordance with the FAA Sealed Master Drawing List SDR 6708 for each of the following modifications and corresponding revision date or subsequent revisions thereto. The drawing list arrangement is such that the later issued list incorporate the previously issued list.
(See continuation Sheet for Modification Numbers) Limitations and Conditions: Crew door per LAS Drawing No. 4037049 must be deactivated in accordance with LAS Document SDR 6868. Crew door per LAS Drawing No. 4060809 may be reactivated in accordance with LAS Document SDR 6967.
Airplane Flight Manual Supplement to Lockheed Electra Model 188A Flight Manual dated July 29, 1968, January 9, 1969 or subsequent revisions thereto is required for Model 188A Aircraft. Airplane Flight Manual Supplement to Lockheed Electra Model 188C Flight Manual dated August 15, 1968, August 30, 1968 or subsequent revisions thereto is required for Model 188C Aircraft. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission. (Cont.)

Addition of LAS Modification 21010 to STC SA1754WE, Electra all cargo configuration, for inclusion of 7000 lb. Load capability in certain cargo compartments must be accomplished in accordance with FAA Sealed Master Drawing List SDR 7019. Subsequent loading operations, with respect to maximum compartment loading and applicable pallet and net assemblies must be conducted in accordance with LAS Document SDR 7022 entitled “Weight and Balance Control and Loading Manual Model 188 Electra Freighter Modification 21010".
The addition of LAS Modification 21010 to Norway Aircraft Serial No. 1143 and 1145 must be accomplished in accordance with Master Drawing List SDR 7019 revised January 8, 1974. The loading operations, maximum compartment loading, and applicable pallet and net assemblies must be in accordance with "Weight and Balance Control and Loading Manual Model L188 Electra Freighter Modification 21010 (Fred Olsen), SDR 7660”.
