3 Civil Air
Installation of Sensenich Propeller Model W80DM in accordance with “Sensenich Propeller Co., Wood Propellers:
Installation, Operation, and Maintenance” instructions and Aircraft Restoration Supplies “W80DM Parts List”, both FAA Approved September 25, 1992, or later FAA approved revision.
1) This approval should not be extended to other aircraft of this model on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated unless it is determined by the installer that adverse interrelationship between this change and any of those other previously approved modifications will introduce no effect upon the airworthiness of that aircraft.

2) This modification is limited to Piper PA-12 and PA-12S aircraft in which a Lycoming 0-290-D, -D2A; or 0-320 Series engine has been installed. STC’s which approve the installation of these engines are as follows:

3) FAA approved Airplane Flight Manual Supplement, dated September 25, 1992, or later FAA approved revisions are required.
4) Aircraft specifications are the same listed on Aircraft Specification Data Sheet No. A-780, except as follows:

a) With Lycoming O-290-D engine rated at 125 hp:
Pitch range is 34” to 44”, and the static rpm at max. permissible throttle setting is not over 2400 rpm and not under 2200 rpm (no additional tolerance permitted)

a) With Lycoming O-290-D2 or –D2A engines rated at 135 hp:
pitch range is 36” to 46”, and the static rpm at max. permissible throttle the static is not under setting is not over 2400 rpm and not under 2200 rpm (no additional tolerance permitted)
b) With Lycoming O-320 series engine rated at 150 or 160 hp:
pitch range is 38” to 48”, and the static rpm at max. permissible throttle setting is not over 2400 rpm and not under 2200 rpm (no additional tolerance permitted)
