727-022 Description of Type Design Change: To meet the requireme nt of the 14 CFR § 25.785(h), a new self closing flight attendant seat will be m ounted on specially installed structural panel at the mid-cabin galley. The seat, when occupied, w ill unfold into the aisle and when released will automatically close, leaving the aisle unobstruc ted. The above installation will be accomplished according to United Air Lines, DAS-1-WE, A pproved Drawing List No. 1927 dated December 7, 1982, or later FAA approved revisions.

Limitations and Conditions: This approval should not be extended to other specific airplanes of this model on which other previously approve d modifications are incorporated, unless it is determined that the interrelationship between th is change and any of those other previously approved modifications will introduce no adverse e ffect upon the airworthine ss of that airplane.

If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.

This certificate and the supporting data, which is the basis for approval, shall remain in effect until surrendered, suspended, revoked or a termination date is otherwise established by the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration.
