Original Product - Type Bertificate Number: A-669 Make: McDonnell Douglas Model: DC 3C S1C3G (Normal/Restricted) Description of Type Design Change: Installation of a winch and battery system in accordance with SALAIR, Inc. photos (1) through (3), and SALAIR, Inc. Installation Instructions to SA2119NM. This modification also includes the installation of 2024T-3 aluminum angles to prevent inadvertent opening of the rear door during sky diving operations in accordance with photo (4).
Limilation and bandition: Data pertaining to this modification are considered inadequate for duplication in other aircraft. This approval is limited to the installation in McDonnell Douglas, Model DC-3C-S1C3G, Serial Number 12438 only.
A copy of this Certificate, SALAIR, Inc. Installation Instructions to SA2119NM, and Operation Limitations shall be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified aircraft.
