Description of Type Design Change: Installation of Turboplus, Inc., Intercooler System M20K-12000, in accordance with Turboplus, Inc., Installation Instructions No. M20-K-12000, dated April 16, 1984, or later FAA approved revision.

NOTE 1:This installation utilizes the original Mooney Air Induction System.

NOTE 2: A design change to the system, as amended February 28, 1986, includes a removal of the exit air plenum, the modification of the Mooney production cowl flaps (Turboplus Dwg. No. 12839) and the modification of the Mooney cabin heat valve as per Turboplus, Inc. Dwg. No. 12000 (Rev. A).

Limitations and Conditions: Approval of this change in type design applies to the above model aircraft only.

This approval should not be extended to other aircraft of these models on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated unless it is determined that the relationship between this change and any of those other previously approved modifications, including changes in type design, will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that aircraft. A copy of this Certificate and FAA Approved Flight Manual Supplement must be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified aircraft.

If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
