DC-8-62 Description of Type Design Change: Modification of interior installation to incorporate enclosed hat rack stowage compartments, improved cabin li ghting, and various other interior changes in accordance with FAA Approved United Air Line s Drawing List C0A2-4271, Revision “D”, dated January 9, 1975, or later FAA approved revisions.
Limitations and Conditions: Revision D cancels and supersedes all previous configurations specified in the original issue of C0A2-4271 th rough Revision “C”. This approval should not be extended to other specific airplanes of this m odel on which previously approved modifications are incorporated unless it is determined that th e inter-relationship between this change and any of those other previously approved modifica tions will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of the above listed aircraft. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder sh all give the other person written evidence of that permission.
This certificate and the supporting data, which is the basis for approval, shall remain in effect until surrendered, suspended, revoked or a termination date is otherwise established by the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration.
