Installation of Continental IO-470-N engine according to Lou Stallings Aircraft Installation Instructions LWS 470- H35 dated September 16, 1977 or later FAA Approved revision.
1. Compatibility of this design change with previously approved modifications must be determined by the installer.
2. One of the FAA Approved Airplane Flight Manual Supplements, dated September 17, 1996 or later FAA Approved revision is required:
a) DSP081496-1, with McCauley 3A34C423/90DFA-10 Propeller,
b) DSP081496-2, with Hartzell PHC-L3YF-1RF/F8468A-6R Propeller,
c) DSP081496-3, with McCauley 2A37C223/90RB-6 Propeller,
d) DSP081496-4, with McCauley 2A36C23/84B-0, or Beech 278-100-11/278-214-82, or Beech 278-100-13 /278-214-82, or Flottorp F-12A-3/8400-2 Propeller,
e) DSP011899-1, dated February 2, 1999 with McCauley 3A36C434/80 VEA-0 propeller.
3 Induction Air Box Installation DSP-IM95-10 Rev. B, dated March 23, 2011, or later FAA Approved revision is required with this modification.
4 Engine Cooling Air Baffles per STC SA01165CH and installed per Installation Manual DSP-IM97-1 Rev NC, dated June 22, 1998 or later FAA Approved revision is optional with this modification.
3. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission, and that written evidence must be maintained in the aircraft’s permanent records.
This certificate and the supporting data, which is the basis for approval, shall remain in effect until surrendered, suspended, revoked or a termination date is otherwise established by the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration.
