727-222, S/N 19913 only Description of Type Design Change : Installation of equipment in accordance with United Air Lines Change Order Authorization – (COA) No. 7-2331, with E ngineering Releases – (ER) 15 and 18 thru 23, and Engineering Variation Authority – (EVA) A46- 661, A46-664, A46-666 thru A46-674 and A48-565 to provide vertical guidance to the flight director a nd the SP-50 autopilot to conduct two-segment approaches.
United Air Lines Supplementary Revision Number 5 to FAA Approved AFM Document D6-8728.1 is required with this modification.
Limitations and Conditions: The approval of this type design applies to Boeing Model 727-222 airplane, Serial Number 19913 only.
This certificate and the supporting data, which is the basis for approval, shall remain in effect until surrendered, suspended, revoked or a termination date is otherwise established by the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration.
