727-200 series Description of Type Design Change: Modification of Auxiliary Power Unit Shroud to permit the entire accessories end of shroud to be removed for increased accessibility. This modification was done in accordance with United Air Lines DAS-1-WE Approved Drawing List No. 2731 dated May 4, 1987, or later FAA approved revisions.
Limitations and Conditions: This approval should not be exte nded to other aircraft of this model on which other previously approved m odifications are incorporated unless it is determined that the interrelationship between th is change and any of those other previously approved modifications will introduce no adverse e ffect upon the airworthiness of that aircraft.
Main landing gear door actuator hydraulic line must be replaced prior to installation of modified APU shroud on aircraft. If the hol der agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
This certificate and the supporting data, which is the basis for approval, shall remain in effect until surrendered, suspended, revoked or a termination date is otherwise established by the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration.
