747-400 Description of Type Design Change: Re-Pitch coach class seating, adding new passenger seats and relocating PSU-s as required. This will be done according to United Airlines DAS-1-WE Approved Master Drawing List No. 2754, dated August 3, 1989, or later FAA approved revisions.
Limitations and Conditions: This approval should not be extende d to other aircraft of this model on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated unless it is determined by the installer that the interrelationship between th is change and any of those previously approved modifications will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that aircraft. This determination should include consideration of signi ficant changes in weight distribution such as an increase in the fixed disposable weight in the fuselage. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the produc t, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
This certificate and the supporting data, which is the basis for approval, shall remain in effect until surrendered, suspended, revoked or a termination date is otherwise established by the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration.
