DC-8-62 Description of Type Design Change: Installation of a Triple Delco Electronics Carousel IV-A Inertial Navigation System in accordance with Approved Drawing List of Change Order Authorization 2-4636 and the United Air Lines Supplement to the McDonnell Douglas Model DC-8-62, FAA Approved AFM DAC-33162 dated November 9, 1974 or later FAA approved revision.
Limitations and Conditions: This approval should not be extended to other specific airplanes of this model on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated, unless it is determined that the interrelationship will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of the airplane. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
This certificate and the supporting data, which is the basis for approval, shall remain in effect until surrendered, suspended, revoked or a termination date is otherwise established by the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration.
