Original Product Type Certificate Number : 4A25 Make: Boeing Model: DC-8-62 Description of Type Design Change: Installs an alternate, all tourist, seating and galley configuration. Galley configuration was previously approved by STC Number SA2296WE. Seating configuration is being accomplished in accordance with United Air Lines Drawing List No. COA 2-4642 or later FAA approved revisions.
Limitations and Conditions: The approval of this change in type desi gn applies basically to DC-8-62 only. This approval should not be extended to other aircraft of th is model on which other previ ously approved modifications are incorporated unless it is determined by the installer th at the interrelationship betwee n this change and any of those other previously approved modifications will intr oduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that aircraft. This determination should in clude consideration of significant changes in weight distribution such as an increase in the fixed disposable weight in the fuselage. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
