Approval of this change in type design applies to the aircraft listed above equipped with the engines as shown on page 3. This approval should not be extended to other aircraft of these models on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated unless it is determined by the installer that the relationship between this change and other previously approved modifications will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that aircraft. A copy of this Certificate, Continuation Sheet, and appropriate Approved Airplane Flight Manual Supplement must be maintained as part of the permanent record for the modified aircraft.

The STC holder will provide a written permission statement to each person it authorizes to use this certificate to alter the product.

Installation of the MK VII Warning System is limited to airplane and engine combinations listed or which have incorporated hush kit installations listed in Table I.

Table I - Hush kit installations not listed which have been shown to meet the requirements of FAA advisory circular 25.939-1, or equivalent are also acceptable. If the installer determines that the interrelationship between the MK VII installation and the hush kit installations will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of the aircraft.

The MK VII Warning System has been demonstrated acceptable for use in the following Douglas DC 9 airplane/engine/hush kit combinations:
