BAC 1-11, 200 Series Description of Type Design Change : Installation of single LTN-51 or LTN-72 Inertial Navigation System in accordance with STC SA2355SW or FAA approved Litton Top Drawing No. 454054-04 Revision “B” or later FAA approved revision.

Litton Airplane Flight Manual Supplement 1 to BAC 1- 11 200 Series aircraft, FAA approved on March 23, 1978, or later FAA approved revision is required as part of this installation.

Limitations and Conditions: The approval of this change in type design applies basically to BAC 1 -11, 200 Series aircraft only. This approval should not be extended to other specific airplanes of these models on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated unless it is determined by the installer that the interrelationship between this change and any of those other previously approved modifications will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that aircraft. A copy of this certificate must be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified aircraft. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
