STC SA4-65 Lycoming GO-480-B1D engines and Hartzell HC 83x20-2C/8433-H propellers per Drawing List NO. 2.
STC SA-4-111 Lycoming GO-480-G1D6 engines and Hartzell HC 83x20-2C/9333-CH3 propellers per Drawing List NO. 3.
3. The Grumman G-44, G44A and SCAN 30 airplanes when modified with engine and propeller combinations shown under Description of Type Design Change, are eligible for the following gross weights:
a) 4700 pounds gross weight take-off and landing (land or water). An FAA Approved Airplane Flight Manual must be prepared and provided.
b) 5500 pounds gross weight, take-off and landing (land) and 4700 pounds gross weight take-off and landing (water) when approved landing gear modified per McKinnon Enterprises Drawing MC- 7005 through MC- 7008. An FAA Approved Airplane Flight Manual must be prepared and provided.
c) 4700 pounds gross weight, take-off and landing (land) and 5500 pounds gross weight take-off and landing (water) when hull is modified to meet buoyancy requirements of CAR 4a.490(a) per McKinnon Enterprises Drawing MPD 5500 through MPD 5504. An FAA. Approved Flight Manual must be prepared and provided.
d) 5500 pounds gross weight, take-off and landing (land and water) when the landing gear and hull are modified as described in Items (2) and (3) above. An FAA Approved Airplane Flight Manual must be prepared and provided.
NOTE: When more than five (5) persons are carried, an FAA Approved emergency exit must be installed.
