Description of Type Design Change: Install passenger seats, supporting stru cture, personal task lighting, and Primex EMPOWER system in aircraft per: ECO C159IXX, dated 8/19/97 with Prototype Revision Form 7721-3 dated 9/13/97; ECO C1588CX dated 4/8/98, C1593C X dated 6/12/98 with Prototype Revision Form 7721-3 dated 8/2/98; and C1659XX date d 4/8/98 with Prototype Revisi on Form 7721-3 dated 5/19/98, or later ODA-700094-SW approved revisions of each.
Limitations and Conditions: This approval should not be incorporated in any aircraft of this specific model until compatibility of this modification with prev iously approved modificati ons has been determined by the installer. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
This STC requires the concurrent installation of AA STC ST10161SC, dated 15 November 2011, or later ODA-700094-SW approved revision, for the current EMPOWER ISPS configuration.
This certificate and the supporting data, which is the basis for approval, shall remain in effect until surrendered, suspended, revoked or a termination date is otherwise established by the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration.
