Provisions for increasing passenger seating capacity from 40 to 44 passengers by accomplishing the following:
1) Movement of passenger compartment forward bulkhead from Stations 330 to 290.
2) Installation of additional cabin window between Stations 311.5 and 333.375.
3) Relocation of radio and electrical equipment on existing radio rack.
4) Installation of additional row of seats.
5) Installation of aft buffet.
Findindance unditund: 116 & 117 and Dvg No. 1255, 1262 and 1264.
The approval of this change in Type Design applies basically to standard Martin 404 airplanes only. This approval should not be extended to other specific airplanes of this model on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated, unless it is determined that the inter-relationship between this change and any of those other previously approved modifications will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that airplane.
