Wing tip fuel tanks installed per Drawing 4009A and FAA Approved Brittain Installation Manual TT4, dated February 9, 1962. FAA Approved Brittain Industries Aircraft Manual Supplement No. 11489 is required.

Limitations and Conditions: The approval of this change in type design applied basically to standard Piper Model PA-24-180 aircraft only. This approval should not be extended to other aircraft of this model on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated unless it is determined by the installer that the interrelationship between this change and any of those other previously approved modifications will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that aircraft. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
