G-1159A Description of Type Design Change : Installation of dual Litton LTN -72R (LED CDU) Area Navigation System according to Drawing List No. 1159L -004-047 dated December 6, 1979, revised March 26, 1980, or later FAA approved revision.
Limitations and Conditions : FAA Approved Airplane Flight Manual Supplement date d March 26, 1980, and revised August 26, 1980, is required. Compatibility of this modification with other previously approved modifications must be determined by the installer. The approval of this change in type design applies basically to the above li sted airplane models only. This approval should not be extended to other aircraft of these models on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated unless it is determined by the installer that the interrelationship between this change and any of those other previously approved modifications will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that aircraft. A copy of this certificate must be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified aircraft. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
