Description of the Type Design Change: Installation of Pacific Propeller, Inc. EAC-12D40-425/ AG-100-4S and EAC-22D40-403/AG-200-4S propellers, governors, and associated systems on Pratt & Whitney R-1340-AN1 engine in accordance with FAA seal Pacific Propeller, Inc., Installation Instruction Nos. E.A.C 1009 and 1017A respectively.
Limitations and Conditions: Data is suitable for reproduction and installation on all Grumman Model G- 164 Series, Serial Nos. 401 and up. The approval of the change in type design applies basically to the above model aircraft only. This approval should not be extended to other aircraft of this model on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated unless it is determined that the interrelationship between this change and any of those other previously approved modifications will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that aircraft. A copy of this Certificate, Addendum No. SA434NW, and E.A.C. Installation Instruction Nos. 1009 and 1017A shall be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified aircraft.
If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission. (See Continuation Sheet, Page 3.)
