Description of the Type Design Change: Installation of EDO-696M-3500 and/or EDO-696-3500 amphibious floats in accordance with Part A of List of Drawings EDO Report Number ECC-R-435, Revision C, dated April 11, 1985, or later Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approved revision.

Limitations and Conditions: This approval should not be extended to other aircraft of these models on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated unless it is determined that the interrelationship between this change and any of those other previously approved modification will introduce no adverse effect on the airworthiness of that aircraft. A copy of this certificate shall be maintained as a part of the permanent record for the modified aircraft.

Serial Numbers U20602589 and U20604650 and up, must be operated in accordance with EDO-AIRE Flight Manual Supplement Number E-1, Report Number ECC-R-457, FAA-approved July 9, 1981, or later FAA- approved revision.

The following models are approved with a gross weight of 3500 lbs: 206, P206, P206A, U206, U206A. All others are approved with a gross weight of 3600 lbs.

The following placards are required

a. EDO Part Number (P/N) 597-1266, located adjacent to the emergency hand pump

b. EDO P/N 597-1274, located in full view of the pilot

If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
