Supplemental Type Certificate Data Sheet, which is part of STC SA4949NM, prescribes the conditions and limitations under which the products for which the STC was issued meets the airworthiness requirements of the Federal Air Regulations.

Battery # 1 (Forward) Battery Selector Switch Battery # 2 (Aft) On instrument panel, in full view of the pilot:

THIS AIRPLANE IS EQUIPPED WITH TWO BATTERIES Switching between the batteries is accomplished with the selector switch.

- Only one battery may be selected at any time.

- Neither battery will charge unless selected.

- To charge a battery, select that battery with the engine running.

Battery is charged when the ammeter indication drops to a low value.

- During flight, each battery should be selected for at least 20 minutes if possible. (Longer if battery is excessively drained.)

- Starting may be accomplished with either battery selected.

- With alternator inoperative, switching batteries will cause a momentary disruption in electrical power and may cause some avionics to reset.
