Installation of Continental IO-470-N engine and Hartzell PHC-L3YF-IRF/F8468A-6R or McCauley 2A37C223/90RB-6, 3A34C423/90DFA-10, 3A36C434/80VEA-0 propellers in accordance with D’Shannon Products Installation Instructions “Blue Star Conversion, Installation of Continental IO-470-N. Beech Model J35, K35, M35, LWS C-470-N”, Revision 2, dated September 16, 1992, or later FAA approved revision.
1. Compatibility of this design change with previous modifications must be determined by the installer.
2. This modification is limited to the engine model, ratings, and propeller operating limits/placard as listed in the applicable flight manual supplement.
3. FAA-Approved Airplane Flight Manual Supplements, dated May 24, 1994, or March 16, 2004 (as applicable) or later FAA-Approved revisions are required.
4. Induction Air Box Installation DSP-IM95-10 Rev. B dated March 23, 2012 or later FAA Approved revision is optional with this modification.
5. Engine Cooling Air Baffles per STC SA01165CH and installed per Installation Manual DSP-IM97-1 Rev NC dated June 22, 1998 or later FAA Approved revision is optional with this modification.
6. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
