747-400 series Description of Type Design Change: Extend Business Class into C-Zone section, changing seat count from 18F-68C-350Y to 18F -80C-320Y. Remove (30) Coach Class seats, install (12) Business Class seats. Install (2) outboard class divider partitions. Install (2) outboard underbin closet assemblies in B-Zone. This modifi cation was accomplished in accordance with United Air Lines, DAS-1-WE, Approved Master Draw ing List No. 5640, dated September 2, 1992, or FAA later approved revisions.

Limitations and Conditions: This approval should not extended to other aircraft of this model on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated unless it is determined by the installer that the interrelationship between th is change and any of those other previously approved modifications will introduce no adverse e ffect upon the airworthiness of that aircraft.

This determination should include consideration of significant changes in weight distribution such as an increase in the fixed disposable weight in the fuselage. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter th e product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.

This certificate and the supporting data, which is the basis for approval, shall remain in effect until surrendered, suspended, revoked or a termination date is otherwise established by the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration.
