Original Product Type Certificate Number : A20WE Make: Boeing Model: 747-238 Description of Type Design Chang e: Installation and activation of a Collins Radio TCAS II System, dual Smith Industries TCAS Type Vertical Speed Indicator , dual Mode S Transponder System, and a dual Collins Radio WXR 700C Weather Radar System in accordance with United Air Lines DAS-1-WE Approved Drawing List No. 5911 dated March 17, 1993, or later FAA approve d revisions. United Air Lines Airplane Flight Manual Supplement to FAA Approved Flight Manual No. D6 13730 3.322 dated March 19, 1993 , or later FAA approved revisions is required as part of the modification.
Limitations and Conditions : This approval should not be extended to other aircraft of this model on which other previously approved modifications are incorpor ated unless it is determined by the installer that the interrelationship between this change and any of those other previously a pproved modifications will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that aircraft. A copy of this STC must be included in the permanent records of the modified aircraft. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
