Description of Type Design Change: Installation of Day & Night, Inc. extended flaps and modified ailerons and flap control system on a Piper Model PA-14 airplane in accordance with drawings, sketches, and instructions on file in AAL-210, Engineering and Manufacturing Field Office, FAA Alaskan Region.
1. Data pertaining to this modification are considered inadequate for duplication in other aircraft. This approval is limited to the installation of Day & Night, Inc. extended flaps and modified ailerons and flap control system on a Piper Model PA-14 airplane, R/N 4214H, S/N 14-101 only.
2. FAA Approved Airplane Flight Manual Supplement dated August 4, 1976 is required.
3. This installation must be installed in conjunction with Day & Night, Inc. STC’s No. SA411AL (square wing-tip installation) and SA593AL (square tail installation).
