A320-200 Series Description of Type Design Change: Install overwing Type III exit seat cushion. The installation is in accordance with United Air Lines, DAS-1-WE, Approved Drawing List No. 5989, dated March 21, 1994, or later FAA approved revisions.
Limitations and Conditions: The approval of this installati on applies basically to the A320-200 series only. This approval should not be extend to other aircraft of this model on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated unless it is determined by the installer that the interrelationship between this cha nge and any of those other previ ously approved modifications will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that aircraft. This approval is granted based on Equivalent Safety Finding to part 25.813 dated March 15, 1994. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
This certificate and the supporting data, which is the basis for approval, shall remain in effect until surrendered, suspended, revoked or a termination date is otherwise established by the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration.
