Description of Type Design Change : Installation of a 3000 gallon fire r etardant tank system in accordance with Aero Union Master Drawing List No. 12494, Revision D, dated June 25, 1994, or later FAA approved revision.
Limitations and Conditions : Data pertaining to this modification are considered to be inadequate for duplication on other aircraft. This approval is limited to the installation made on Lockheed Model L-188A, Serial Number 1063 only. FAA approved Air plane Flight Manual Supplement No. 1387, dated June 2 9, 1994, or later FAA approved revision is required as part of this installation.
Noise: This modification is exempt from 14 CFR Part 36 Noise Standards per Part 21, Subpart D, paragraph 21.93 (b)(3)(ii).
