Replace Aerostar International Basket/Burner system and fuel tanks with the Balony Kubicek Basket Model K15, S/N 340; the Balony Kubicek Burner Model IGNIS 2 units, S/N 536/537; Schroeder Fire Balloons VA70 fuel tanks, S/Ns A2626, A2627, and A2628. The Balony Kubicek Basket/Burner is installed via the standard Aerostar International carabiner (snaplink) attachments as specified in the FAA Approved Balloon Flight Manual Supplement dated March 8, 2010.
1. FAA Approved Balloon Flight Manual Supplement, dated March 8, 2010, or later FAA approved revisions required. 2. This modified balloon is to be maintained in accordance with the latest revision of the Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) from Aerostar International (Envelope) and Balony Kubicek (Basket, Burner, Fuel Tanks). 3. You cannot use descriptive data about this design change to duplicate other products. This approval is limited to only the installation made in Aerostar International Model RXS-8, S/N 3007, only. This STC does not permit manufacturing of parts for multiple installations.
