Description of Type Design Change: Replace the Balony Kubicek Basket/Burner system with the Cameron Balloons Basket Model Echo TT, P/N CB3004A, S/N 9397; Cameron Balloons MK IV Triple Burner P/N CB2081-1, S/Ns 5968, 5945, and 5930.
Replace the Balony Kubicek fuel tanks with the Thunder and Colt P/N V30-890922-1 fuel tanks, S/Ns V30-1400, V30-1398, V30- 1219, and V30-577. The Cameron Balloons Basket/Burner is installed via the standard Balony Kubicek carabiner (snaplink) attachments in accordance with Balony Kubicek Drawing No. STC-05, dated April 2, 2012.
1. FAA Approved Balloon Flight Manual Supplement dated April 30, 2012, is required. 2. This modified balloon is to be maintained in accordance with the latest revision of the Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) from Balony Kubicek (Envelope), and Cameron Balloons (Basket, Burner), and Thunder and Colt (Fuel Tanks). 3. You cannot use descriptive data about this design change to duplicate other products. This approval is limited to only the installation made in Balony Kubicek Model BB70Z, Serial No. 911. This STC does not permit manufacturing of parts for multiple installations.
