Description of Type Design Change: Replace the Balony Kubicek Basket/Burner system with the Lindstrand Balloons Basket, Part Number BA-012-A-001, S/N BA344; the Lindstrand Balloons Burner, Part Number BU-002-A-001, S/N BU450.
Replace the Balony Kubicek fuel tanks with the Lindstrand Balloons Fuel Tanks, Part Number CY-040-A-001, S/Ns 273, 274, and
275. The Lindstrand Balloons Basket/Burner are installed in the same manner as the Balony Kubicek Basket/Burner.
1. FAA Approved Balloon Flight Manual Supplement dated June 6, 2012, is required. 2. This modified balloon is to be maintained in accordance with the latest revision of the Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) from Balony Kubicek (Envelope) and Lindstrand Balloons (Basket, Burner, Fuel Tanks) 3. You cannot use descriptive data about this design change to duplicate other products. This approval is limited to only the installation made in Balony Kubicek Model BB45Z, Serial No. 924. This STC does not permit manufacturing of parts for multiple installations
