Description of Type Design Change: : Replace the Ultramagic Basket/Burner system and fuel tanks with the Galaxy Balloons 60X72 Basket, S/N C006 (modified to be wheelchair accessible); the Galaxy Balloons Burner Model T3-017, S/Ns 2653L and 2654L; and Galaxy Balloons fuel tanks, P/Ns C6G003 or C3229 and C6B001 or C3035. The Galaxy Balloons Basket/Burner is installed via the standard Ultramagic carabiner (snaplink) attachments as specified in the FAA Approved Balloon Flight Manual Supplement dated April 15, 2013.
1. FAA Approved Balloon Flight Manual Supplement dated April 15, 2013, is required. 2. This modified balloon is to be maintained in accordance with the latest revision of the Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) from Ultramagic (Envelope), Galaxy Balloons (Basket, Burner, and Fuel Tanks), and the Maintenance and Inspection Requirements section of the FAA Approved Balloon Flight Manual Supplement dated April 15, 2013. 3. You cannot use descriptive data about this design change to duplicate other products. This approval is limited to only the installation made in Ultramagic Model F-35 R4TS, Serial No. F35-01. 4. This STC does not permit manufacturing of parts for multiple installations.
